The Game- Stop Snitchin’ Stop Lyin’

October 15th, 2006

When it comes to bad PR moves, this is one of the biggest. From the start to finish of this awful DVD, out next month in the UK, viewers get bored to death by what ultimately, is a very bitter and twisted man. The Game is one hell of an obsessed dude, and if this DVD is to believed, has nothing on his mind besides 50 Cent and G-Unit, who he supposedly hates.

Aside from a couple of mildly interesting anecdotes and an insight into how much rappers are tracked by ‘hiphop cops’, there’s nothing in the way of content. That is, unless you class The Game talking to camera for about two hours entertaining. Like someone’s ex-girlfriend, he just goes on and on. 50 said this, Lyod Banks said that, Young Buck claimed this. Blah blah blah. We don’t hear any of Game’s music, or even a reference to it. Even live footage of the bloke on stage merely sees him sitting down talking to the crowd about his love affair with his ex associates.

As for the countless people shouting ‘G U Not’ to the camera, I needn’t point out how biased and misrepresentative this is. This Game DVD was obviously never going to show footage of people bigging up the artist it’s out to mock, so any suggestion from it that the world now hates 50 Cent should be ignored. I mean, the guy’s still selling more albums than anyone else. And the saddest thing of all about this release is that I’m the biggest 50 Cent hater. I should love this DVD, but the truth is, it’s that shit, and that pitiful, that I now hate The Game even more.

Woah woah woah, back up back up! I couldn’t disagree more, this dvd may not be perfect but it doesn’t deserve that kind of review! For one thing its got some very funny moments and, while many of the things The Game says are a bit hard to genuinely believe, there are some things that wouldn’t shock me if the were true; such as the lack of money provided by commercials for the G Unit clothes, I cant see any other reasons for Game not being in those ads! Also you said this DVD was biased but many of these allegations such as 50 Cent snitching have actually been around for years and its hard not to be biased when there is a genuie hatred for 50 in his hometown New York; completely impartial DVD ‘’Beef 3” contains interviews with some of 50’s friends from the street claiming that money has gone to his head and he has abandoned his heritage! Claiming this is “biased” is like saying this DVD is made to document what happened in this beef but it’s not, it was made to show the huge response to Game’s G Unot campaign

You all must understand that when it comes to thug life you have to make a choice on wether your going to sit around and help your brother and make both of you look like fools later, of are you going to stay true to yourself and not waste time tring to change somes mind, are you going to be a bitch and snitch or are you going to be a man and handle your shit? The Game did a good job.
