Coming out on Muzik-Ed Recordings is the two artist / two track 12” release produced by the consistent Keith Lawrence. First up is ‘Sero & Seanie’ by yup, Serocee and Seanie-T. This one’s on a reggae influenced vibe which suits both vocal styles. There’s not a lot on the lyrical side of things but it gets the head bopping nicely. Next up is ‘Heavyweight MC’ by Peci. A less well known MC, the rapper drops solid verses with a nice hint of character over a quite classy beat with a faint classic hiphop taste. Whilst it’s a bit of a mouthful to reference, it’s refreshing to see a double A side 12” by two different artists, and it’s always enjoyable to see what Lawrence has been busy creating. For the more seasoned UK hiphop head, this one’s out now.
