What’s up man, how’s it going?

Nothing. I’m fine. Just gettin’ used to being on road again.

Who were your early rap heroes?

Jay Z and Tupac.

What releases have you put out so far?

‘Simply The Best’, my mixtape, and it’s shottin’ quicker than class A drugs in Hackney.

You hosted Statik’s Grindie CD. Is there more mashup’s to come?

I keep it movin’. I’m so spontaneous. Even I don’t know what I’m doin’ next.

Who provides your beats?

I fuck with Rapid, Wiley, Target, Statik, Low Deep. Loads. Anyone that’s hot.

Are you in a crew of affiliated with any other artists?

Right. I’m in The Movement which consists of me, Ghetto, Wretch32 and Mercston.

What’s your label situation??

I’m taking care of my biz, till that correct deal gets here.

What projects have you got lined up?

‘The Movement’ mixtape and the second round to all of our solo efforts.

Your bio mentions postcode divides in grime. What’s that about?

East London had the game in a strangle hold at one point but it’s more open right now.

Outside of your circle, what rappers are you rating at the moment?

My cousin Sincere, Jo Black, Pound Sterlin’. A Couple of others. I like SAS, no lie.

How healthy’s grime right now and what’s the best and worst parts?

Best thing is me and my team. Nah, jokes. The mixtape circuit is bangin’ right now. Chattin’ shit about albums is the worst thing to do ‘cause they never get out.

How aware are you of traditional forms of UK rap music?

I couldn’t tell ya. It’s not my thing but I’m learnin’ slowly.

Would you like to see different types of rap mixing more?

Not really. I want both to have independent scenes which can generate enough money so we don’t have to make cross over markets just to move a reasonable amount of units.
