Hi-Tek- Hi-Teknology 2

November 19th, 2006

Featuring an outstanding number of high quality guest appearances including Talib Kweli, The Game, Q- Tip, Busta Rhymes and Papoose, Hi-Tek has done it again and released a stong album from start to finish, with extremely nice production efforts. It's great to see lesser known and more underground artists on a compilation of work which also has high profile names such as Nas and Common, and this is probably Hi-Tek's biggest achievement to date; remaining credible with his original, core fanbase, yet attracting the more mainstream divisions of hiphop and doing so with integrity still intact. From the soulful flavours of 'Music For Life' to the energetic 'March' and theatrical 'Money Don't Make U Rich', it's understandable why Dr. Dre has shown a lot of interest in involving Hi-Tek in Aftermath releases.
